Kone-R is a dj in the classic mould: a pair of vinyl records on two turntables, mixed the traditional way with no tricks or mirrors.

Established in 1992, he has played alongside many names including:

Colin Faver, Colin Dale, The Producer, Neil Landstrumm, B12, Keith Tenniswood (Radioactive Man), Unique 3, Si Begg, Max Tundra, Cylob, Schneider TM, Detroit Grand Pubahs, Bobby Conn, Andy Smith, Crossover, Ladytron, Zion Train, Children of the Bong, Timeshard, Freezepop, Cursor Miner, LJ Kruzer, Kings Have Long Arms, John Callaghan, Phoenecia, Large Number.... And for one night he WAS James Lavelle.

He has graced such venues as: Electrowerkz, Jacks, Aldwych disused tube station, Turnmills, ICA, 93 Feet East, Ginglik, Wang (@ The Premises), Werk (@ Funky Munky), 333 Club, The Foundry, The Asylum, Brixton Windmill, Moon Palace (@ Monkey Chews), Catch, Acid Skiffle (@ The Well, Luton), UFO Club @ Longleat House Warminster, UFO Club @ High Post Salisbury, Nottingham Blueprint, Nottingham Rescue Rooms, Salisbury Guildhall, Thruxton Race Circuit, Stoke The Stage, Stoke The Wheatsheaf, Keele University, St Brieuc La Passarelle, Nantes Le Lieu Unique....

He has also done a fair amount of radio in his time with appearances on Resonance FM, Groovetech and WWFM. He also helped set up a student radio station at Keele University (KUBE FM) on which he held a saturday night residency broadcasting across the west midlands.
